Mayaben Kodnani’s police custody ends today

Ahmedabad, Apr 1 (ANI): The police custody of former Gujarat Minister of State for Women's Welfare, Mayaben Kodnani, and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader, Jaideep Patel, ends today. On March 29, Kodnani and Patel were remanded in police custody till today by a local court in connection with the 2002 post-Godhra riots case. Kodnani and Patel's anticipatory bail was cancelled by Gujarat High Court, after which they had surrendered before the Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Supreme Court to probe some of the riot cases afresh. ‘Rosy’ skin does indicate healthiness and ‘pale’ illness

Washington, April 1 (ANI): University of St Andrews researchers in Scotland have shown that there is truth to the received wisdom that a "rosy" complexion of the skin represents healthiness, while a "green" or "pale" colour indicates illness. Lead researcher Ian Stephen, from the School of Psychology, points out that several monkey species use redness in their faces or sexual skin to advertise their health status and to attract mates.
