US happy with progress on n-deal with India: Roemer

New Delhi, March 22 (IANS) Declining to comment on reports of a possible US-Pakistan nuclear deal, US Ambassador to India Timothy J. Roemer Monday said his country was happy with the progress on the civil nuclear deal with India.

"We are happy over the progress on the civil nuclear deal with India in the last few weeks," Roemer told reporters when asked about news reports that the US is not averse to inking a similar nuclear deal with Pakistan. (Continue reading)
