Next James Bond movie is canceled indefinitely

The situation of uncertainty around MGM studio due to its financial condition will affect production of the twenty-third 007. As the auction to decide the future of the studio has not gotten into anything, EON Productions has decided to suspend the upcoming movie of James Bond.

“We do not know when the film’s production may continue and we have a date for the release of Bond 23 ” , Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement released on Monday.

EON Productions is responsible for 22 films in the franchise from MGM in 1962 and has its distribution partnership. Sony Pictures has already showed intention to co-produced the movies, but no decision will be made until MGM resolve their future.
