Apple considering iPhone for Verizon: Wall Street Journal Report

As new model iPhone is expected to arrive in stores soon, Wall Street Journal has reported that the new version of iPhone may come with the end of exclusivity of AT&T. Apple may bring CDMA version of the iphone, thus, signaling that Verizon and Sprint could become carrier for new version of iPhone.

The publication has also provided few details about the device it is believed that the cell, which has been called the iPhone 4G ( fourth generation) will have OLED screen, video chat feature (with two cameras) and make pictures with resolution up to 5 megapixel. Also speaking on the use of the chip A4 (used in iPad) and a CDMA version of the device.

According to report, a Foxconn, manufacturer of Apple’s iPhone, will begin mass production of the iPhone, designed to work on Verizon’s network in September.
