Twitter rolls out ad plan for its website

Twitter announced that it will begin showing advertising on its website from today.

The measure is seen to make this network a profitable business. Best Buy, Virgin America and Starbucks were the among first advertisers.

According to the media report, Twitter plans to announce a new ad service, called “Tweets Promoted,” that will show at the top of the results in search queries. This will be a model similar to Google that eventually turn into a search engine advertising successful.
