Facebook extends social to external websites with ‘Like’ button

The most popular social networking website Facebook announced on Wednesday that it has crossed 400 million registered users mark. According to the official announcement of the company, the number of Internet users participating in the site only increases and shows no slowdown.

The chief executive of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg said it also intends to improve the ability for users to share information from and to external sites.

Starting this Wednesday, it is possible for users to click on the ‘LIKE’ button next to content from sites like CNN and ESPN and this information will be posted on your Facebook.
