AT&T can grow without Apple iPhone: Report

g to Barron’s newspaper, concerns about the end of the exclusivity agreement between AT & T and Apple have been getting more attention that the capacity of the phone operator to sell other services to its clients are overshadowed.
AT&T announced its quarterly financial results which were more than analysts’ expectation. Most analyst expect that pact between AT&T and Apple will be maintained until the end of 2011.
However, Investors should not overlook the ability of the company to sell data services, broadband, voice to various customers in the wireless industry, The Barron’s newspaper reported.
Many of wireless companies are seeing drop in the number of subscribers due to long term contract. However, the company reported that revenue per user for data services is remained high that can help company to offset the reduction in the rate of growth of subscriber base.
