Apple acknowledges iPhone 4 antenna problems, offers free iPhone 4 case
Steve Jobs, while admitting the iPhone 4 antenna problem, announced yesterday during the press conference that the company will offer free iPhone 4 cases manufactured by Apple. Apple was selling the fourth generation iPhone bumpers for $29 before the announcement. Jobs also said that those who bought the cases from Apple will be refunded the price they paid for the case. Those who want to get free iPhone 4 case can avail the opportunity before September 30.
“We love our users, we really love them,” Apple CEO said during the news conference. He further said “We try very hard to surprise and delight them. We work our asses off. When we fall short, which we do sometimes, we try harder. We pick ourselves up, figure out what’s wrong and we try harder.”
Consumer Report magazine had announced recently that it will not recommend iPhone 4 until Apple fixes it reported antenna problems. However the magazine has confirmed that Apple’s iPhone 4 case resolves the reception issue.
