Apple to unveil new iPod touch and smaller nano on Sept 01

Apple is scheduled a press conference on September 01. Majority of analysts agree that Apple will announce new iPod and rental of television programs.

The Sept conference for Apple is normally dedicated to personal media players and iTunes, its music download service and video And this year should not be change as well.

It is expected that Apple will unveil new iPods including the iPod Touch with touch screen and wireless Wi-Fi. There are speculation that new touch iPod will be equipped with a cameras (front and back side), high resoultion screen and possible face time like in iPhone 4.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is expected to launch a system for rental of television programs on iTunes. Through this system, users can rent an TV episode for only $.99 in 24 hours of its broadcast and can keep it on the device for a duration of 48 hours.

These programs are accessible from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Apple is also in negotiations with CBS, Disney and NBC to ensure a well-stocked catalog content.

There are also rumors that Apple will present a new Apple TV box, a device connecting wireless computers and a TV. According to the Apple Insider, the device could incorporate the operating system iOS which powers the iPhone and iPad.

Finally, According to various media reports, Apple could launch a iPad smaller and less expensive than the current version.
