Walmart to sell iPhone 3GS for $97: Official Verizon iPhone 4G soon

There was new signal for the possible arrival of iPhone 4G during WWDC 2010. Walmart announced today that it is decreasing the prices of iPhone3G S to $97. The latest version of iPhone was being sold for $200. It is expected that Best Buy and AT&T will follow the largest retailer.

Walmart, the discount retailer, always keeps the price down. During the shopping season in 2009, the company had announced that it would sell best seller’s books for $9.99 a copy to compete against Amazon.com.

It is reported by multiple sources that California based Apple Inc will release iPhone 4G during WWDC in June. According to various media reports that The official arrival of Verizon iPhone and possibly Sprint iPhone is also expected during the event in San Francisco.
