Verizon iPhone 4G coming for Christmas 2010: Latest Report

The latest rumor about the release of Verizon iPhone came out today when a report suggested that Verizon iPhone will not be launched in WWDC 2010. The report is so far similar to other reports by CNN and MSNBC but the latest report by The Street claimed that Verizon iPhone will be released for Shopping season in December. According to the report, Apple and Verizon are in talks to release iPhone for Verizon this year, however the report could not be confirmed from Apple or Verizon.

Apple iPhoneThere were many others rumors and developments in tech industry this week. The week started with the leaked pictures of White iPhone 4G. Then there was an analysis and a survey suggesting that 40% of Verizon customers and 17% of AT&T subscribers will sign the contract with Verizon Wireless for  iPhone CDMA. However major news outlets reported that Verizon iPhone will not be released until 2011 or 2012 unless Apple gets the initially discussed terms of AT&T’s iPhone exclusive contract changed. AT&T has reportedly won the  iPhone exclusive contract extended by decreasing the price of Wifi-3G iPad data plan.

On the other side, Apple becomes The World’s Most Valuable Tech Company by taking the title which had been held by  Microsoft for many years. The balance of power between Apple and Microsoft has changed since the introduction of iPod. Microsoft launched Zune with no success then the success of iPhone and iPad left Microsoft far behind.

The rivalry between Apple and Microsoft is decades old. Microsoft was always more successful as compare to Apple. Windows was the most successful Operating System beating Apple’s Mac in the market share. Microsoft’s office productivity software was always a standard, even Apple had to ask Microsoft to launch its Office products for Mac.
