Are we getting new Verizon iPhone 4G in Christmas?

With never-ending rumors about the iphone 4G, Here is some big development with the launch of iPhone 4G with Verizon or Sprint from a person in charge of Apple. Yes I am talking about the Steve Jobs. Yesterday, he provided new hints on whether new iPhone will be landing on multiple carriers in the U.S.

According to USATODAY, Steve Jobs appeared in a rare interview during the D8 event. He was asked whether there would be advantage for iPhone if it was offered at more than one network. His response was simple “There may be”. You might think his comment provided no clue but could he be saying simple “no”.

In the follow-up question, he was asked if the iPhone will be coming on another carrier in the U.S. The response was simple “no comment”.

However, thestreet.com reported last week that Apple and Verizon are talking to bring Verizon iPhone during Christmas. Steve Jobs is scheduled to provide key-note speech during the WWDC2010. The event is set to begin on June 07.

It is widely believed that Apple will unveil its new iPhone 4G with AT&T during the June event.
