CNET reported today with the reference of Gadget website Pocket-Lint that Skype would be happy to make it VOIP and video chatting service compatible with Apple’s new FaceTime. Skype allows people to have video chatting on regular computer. Now with new iPhone 4 feature called FaceTime, people could also make video calls and have video chat with other iPhone owners.
If Apple allows Skype to enable video chatting facility then FaceTime will not be limited to iPhone users. In simple words, iPhone users could engage in video chatting with any Skype user all around the world.
“”We would welcome the opportunity to work with Apple to bring mobile video calling not only to our many millions of Skype users on iPhone around the world, but also to the countless more making video calls on desktops, TVs and other connected devices.” CNET quoted Pocket-lint’s source
