Apple iPhone 4 vs. Sprint HTC EVO 4G: Hardware and OS compared

Two hottest phones in the smart-phone world were released in the same  week when Sprint or Apple chose to give hard time to each other . The hype of iPhone 4G (officially, iPhone 4) was crossing all limits. Similarly everyone was  so excited about the landing of first ever 4G phone on U.S. carrier.

In terms of hardware in HTC EVO 4G and iPhone 4, it looks like that both companies have used the best possible components in the market. Both phones can have storage capability up to 32GB and both devices support video chatting / video calling. Two best phones can do video recording at 720P. Apple iPhone 4 uses the latest Apple A4 chip whereas HTC EVO 4G comes with 1GBZ Qualcomm processor.

In terms of Software, IOS 4 (formerly, iPhone OS 4.0) and Android 2.1 are the two best mobile operating systems available in the market. IOS 4 has many new features including Unified Inboxes,  5x digital zoom camera and multitasking.  Android 2.1 has HTML 5 and Adobe Flash support in addition to digital zoom, Live Wallpapers and other features.
