Verizon iPhone 4 release date in Q1 of 2011?

New rumors about Verizon iPhone are suggesting that Verizon is possibly not interested in iPhone. Verizon would like to develop its own brands than relying in Apple device. However no speculation about iPhone 4 on Verizon has been confirmed by the nation’s largest wireless carrier.

Meanwhile Barclays Capital Analyst, Ben Reitzes, believes that Apple and Verizon would launch iPhone CDMA or iPhone 4G   in the first quarter of 2011. He said that “While widely expected, we believe the additional carrier (including Verizon) would extend and accelerate the iPhone 4 cycle” in the first half of 2011. The analysis is not consistent with the report by TheStreet.com which claimed that Verizon will get iPhone for the shopping season of 2010.

Verizon Spokesman had said while giving an interview to Beet.tv that the wireless service provider will not carry iPhone “in the immediate future”. Verizon Regional Executive had indicated that the real question is “when not if” Verizon will have iPhone on its network.

There were others reports before the launch of iPhone 4 that Apple will wait for Verizon iPhone until Verizon Wireless has 4G network ready
