Apple unveils New iPod Touch, Apple TV: Verizon iPhone 4 in 2011
Apple made announcement for its new iPod Touch, social network dedicated to music and Apple TV for delivering movies and TV shows to rent. Apple didn’t unveil the high anticipated Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 during in the music themed event.
In the conference in San Francisco, the company provided its greatest technological renovations for its iPod devices with thinner iPod Touch with similar features in iPhone 4 including FaceTime, Front & Rear camera. Along with iPod Touch, Company also introduced smaller iPod nano and iPod Shuffle.
The new models range between $49 (Shuffle 2GB) AND $399 (64 GB iPod Touch). Apple also launched TV system for rental of television programs on iTunes. Through this system, users can rent an TV episode for only $.99 in 24 hours of its broadcast and can keep it on the device for a duration of 48 hours.
As expected, there was nothing about Verizon iPhone 4 in the conference. Apple has always dedicated the September event for entertainment related products including iPod and iTunes. Steve Jobs has
indirectly accepted that Apple is working on the CDMA iPhone 4 or Verizon iPhone 4 when it said that Apple has Verizon tower in its campus. TheStreet.com and other media sources have already reported that Apple will unveil Verizon iPhone around the new year of 2011.
