Android hits 25% in Mobile Web Market
Google Mobile OS Android has reached new milestone today. According to the web statistics company Quantacast, Android OS has about 25% share of mobile web consumption. The Google OS gained 2% in August.
Apple’s iOS still rule the smart-phone market with 56% share web consumption. It is hard to calculate the time which Android will take to catch up with iOS. RIM’s Blackberry which was household name in the smart-phone world is now at 9%.

According to Apple Insider, Quantcast has previously specified that it “does not include Apple’s iPad in mobile web consumption analysis,” however the web statistics company didn’t tell if iPad data was included this time
