T-Mobile to carry Android 2.2 powered Huawei Ideos?
Hauwei recently showed their new Android 2.2 powered smartphone called Hauwei Ideos at the IFA event. It seems that major U.S carriers including T-Mobile are trying to get the new smart-phone on their network.
According to multiple new sources including Engaged and Wall Street Journal, T-Mobile has showed an interest in the smartphone for the possibly launch in the shopping season of 2010. Other report claims that Huawei and T-Mobile have also agreed on the price of the phone. The phone will reportedly be sold for $50. Report suggests that T-Mobile wants to increase its smart-phone market share with the low price Hauwei Ideos whereas Huawie wants to get into the United States market.
Huawei Ideos comes with 2.8 inch capacitive QVGA touch screen and 7.2Mbps HSDPA. The device supports the 3G and WiFi network connectivity. Like, Droid X, Huawei Ideos has the feature of mobile hotspot.
