President Obama and President Sarkozy for more sanctions on Iran

President Barak Obama and Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France, agreed on Tuesday for stopping the Iranian nuclear program. President Obama said that sanctions on Tehran should be implemented within weeks.
"My hope is that we are going to get this done this spring. I’m not interested in waiting months for a sanctions regime to be in place. I’m interested in seeing that regime in weeks," Guardian quotes President Obama.
U.S and other western countries are lobbying more sanctions on Iran through UN Security Council but China and Russia want the issue to be resolved by diplomacy.
The French president said that he along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, will take "every effort" to ensure that all Europe to become involved to punish Iran
