Obama’s nuclear summit: Work plan established by countries

The 47 countries which were represented by their leaders in the nuclear safety summit in the United States reached an agreement on Monday to control the all materials that can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons. According to multiple news agencies, the draft final declaration of the meeting states that the new measures are implemented in a period of four years. Participants of the summit established a work plan with national and international measures to take forward the commitment.
The U.S. President, Barack Obama, said the commitment of countries represents a real contribution to make the world a safer place.
The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday while talking to the local public television that Iran is the only chance of Obama’s success in the region after repeated crises between Israelis and Palestinians and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Iran was not invited in the summit.
