Facebook holds 41% of traffic from social media in US
The Americans are actually moving from MySpace for Facebook. According to research released by comScore, the Facebook showed a significant growth in user traffic over the last year that surpassed all social websites.
The survey shows that Facebook leads the ranking with 41% of the total, leaving behind MySpace, with 24%. In 2009, the results showed the MySpace was leading with 38% of total accessions, 33% more than Facebook.
Just behind the two comes Gmail (15%) and Twitter (8%) in the third and fourth places.

Facebook is growing so rapidly on the internet. In March, the social network has come really close to Google in number of hits overall. People are using increasely built in search in Facebook that may become cause of concern of Google who rely heavily on searches. Facebook also has tools that allow users to post tweets directly from the site.
