Train derails in Northern Italy: At least eleven killed and 27 injured.

At least eleven people were killed on Monday after a train derailed by a regional landslide in northern Italy. According to local media, three people are missing and 27 are wounded, seven of them are seriously injured and have been taken to area hospital.

The derailment was caused by a landslide and took place around 0900 local time (0700 GMT) in the pathway from Castelbello to Laces which is close to the city of Bolzano.

The director of the railway line, Helmuth Moroder, said the eleven were dead which is more than the early reported seven. He also said that the security system of rails would have automatically blocked the lines in few moments.
